Modelos mentales y concepciones espontáneas

Abstract

En este artículo se presentan las principales características de los modelos mentales. Ese constructo proviene de la ciencia cognitiva, y con el mismo se intenta modelizar cómo se organiza y funciona el pensamiento no científico de los humanos. Se introduce el concepto de modelo mental mecánico, elaborado por Kleer y Brown, y se expone con un ejemplo como se interpretarían, siguiendo el vocabulario que suministran estos autores, las concepciones espontáneas de los estudiantes.
