The purpose is to study how Existencialism - in its most human meaning - is reflected in the Theatre of the Absurd. The attention will be paid to six Ionesco and Beckett´s plays. Aspects such as language, position of objects and characters on the stage, etc. will be analysed according to their relevance regarding vital feelings. Eventually, the conclusion reached is that, although the treatment of Existencialism is different in both authors, they always achieve to transmit an equal message : the absurdity of life.
