Resiliencia familiar en Logopedia

Abstract

La resiliencia es una capacidad positiva asociada al ser humano que permite afrontar las situaciones adversas o acontecimientos traumáticos, adaptarse a ellos y salir fortalecido. Esta cualidad se atribuye también a la familia (resiliencia familiar), estando modulada por características y factores individuales, familiares y sociales, lo que posibilita su adquisición, desarrollo y establecimiento. Las patologías como TDAH, TEL y TEA en niños, suponen un grave impacto emocional en los padres que lleva consigo dificultades de adaptación y altos niveles de estrés. Por ello, se pretende investigar y conocer, desde el paradigma cuantitativo, el papel de la resiliencia en familias de niños que presentan patologías del lenguaje y reciben tratamiento logopédico, así como identificar, comparar y determinar el grado de resiliencia y de otras variables en función de determinados factores. Además, se comprueba las relaciones existentes entre las variables de estudio. Para ello, se aplicó la escala RS en un grupo de 11 familias, junto con la cuantificación de las variables relacionadas estrés parental, apoyo social, cohesión y adaptación familiar y esperanza. Los resultados indican puntajes medios en el grado de resiliencia, sin variaciones en función del diagnóstico del niño. Existen relaciones significativas entre las variables resiliencia, estrés parental y esperanza.
