Música sefardí : el lenguaje de una tradición musical

Abstract

Se describe cómo la falta de documentación musical de la antigua tradición sefardí ha propiciado el tópico acerca del origen hispánico del repertorio que ha llegado hasta nosotros transmitido por vía oral. Elementos musicales de tradiciones ajenas a la hispánica han impregnado también la música sefardí convirtiéndola en una especie de crisol de lenguajes musicales heterogéneos, cuyas características fundamentales se analizan aquí.
