Principios musicales y estrategias metacognitivas en el aula

Abstract

Se describe cómo uno de los temas no suficientemente tratado en la literatura pedagógica musical es el estudio de los automatismos didácticos de los docentes. Las características ecológicas del formato de enseñanza favorecen los procesos de repetición, que tienden a crear estos hábitos inconscientes. Automatizar la didáctica impide la evaluación autorreguladora y con lleva disfunciones, como las de considerar que el aprendizaje de ciertos principios musicales sean considerados tan obvios, que se descarte su enseñanza. Se propone el uso de las estrategias metacognitivas para enseñar y aprender en el aula de música, como antídoto contra los automatismos didácticos empobrecedores, y se reivindica la necesidad de enseñar los principios musicales en forma de contenido curricular explícito para facilitar el aprendizaje significativo.
