Se explica el síndrome de personalidad maquiavélica desde una perspectiva psicosocial, detallando su origen etimológico y su contextualización histórica, los rasgos propios de dicho síndrome, su medida empírica mediante escalas Mach, y su manifestación y efecto en la sociedad contemporánea.
