Memoria de trabajo en el Trastorno Específico del Lenguaje

Abstract

Se describe la relación entre la memoria de trabajo y el trastorno específico del lenguaje, a través de la revisión de investigaciones realizadas en este campo. Se seleccionan 14 artículos de investigación publicados desde el año 2011 hasta 2017 y se observa como todos ellos han encontrado, en mayor o menor medida, algún tipo de relación entre la MT y el TEL. Además se observa, cómo en los niños con TEL, se encuentra alterado el desempeño en diferentes funciones ejecutivas, obteniendo puntuaciones más bajas que los niños con desarrollo típico del lenguaje. Por último, parece que hay cierto consenso entre estas investigaciones, en que el componente del modelo de Badley de la MT que más alteraciones muestra en niños con TEL es el lazo articulatorio, seguido del ejecutivo central y por último el cuaderno visoespacial.
