Abstract

Se expone la necesidad del uso de la literatura en lengua inglesa en la Educación Secundaria y de proponer actividades que la incluyan, por resultar un medio perfecto para introducir la lengua y ahondar en una dimensión más cultural. Tras un periodo de prácticas se ha constatado el escaso conocimiento de literatura en lengua inglesa del alumnado. Por este motivo, el trabajo muestra las ventajas de incluir la literatura por, los efectos positivos que produce en el alumnado y se proponen una serie de actividades que se ajusten al modelo que se defiende.
