Perspectiva Humanista da Imagem Corporal

Abstract

Este trabalho pretende ser um reflexão acerca do conceito de imagem corporal e insatisfação da Imagem corporal, como exemplo das múltiplas dissociações que ocorrem no processo de desenvolvimento da personalidade à luz da teoria de Cari Rogers. Pretende-se aceder a uma melhor compreensão dos factores psicológicos implicados na decisão de mudar o corpo, através da cirurgia plástica e estética, nomeadamente clarificar os aspectos intrapessoais, interpessoais e colectivos da avaliação corporal.
