The article deals with the problem associated with digital support for teaching law at the law schools. The staff of Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic created the original AcademicLex software, which contains the law in force of the Czech Republic, the case law of the Supreme Courts, explanatory memoranda, textbooks, lectures and clasic law books. The system is equpied with sophisticated search functions, internal and external hypertext links and video lectures. This is a significant support for teaching, which proved succesful in distance learning in 2020. The system is used by students of law faculties of Charles University and the University of West Bohemia.
