Paisajes del Agua: el Alto Támega en la Prehistoria reciente

Abstract

En este trabajo se sistematiza el registro arqueológico de la preshistoria reciente del valle del Alto Támega, una región hasta ahora poco conocida en la historiografía arqueógica de Galicia, prestando especial atención al fenómeno del arte rupestre y valorando otras manifestaciones como asentamientos, túmulos y estatuaria prehistórica.

This paper presents a comprehensive digest of the archaeological record from the Late Prehistory of the Upper Tamega Valley, a region hitherto little known in the Galician archaeological literature, focusing our analysis on the study of rock art and assesing other elements such as settlements, burial mounds and prehistoric statuary.
