Ageism and the market. Ageism is a term used to describe different attitudes and treatment due to calendar age of individuals. Although the most important areas of common life where ageism is visible are – according to many research – labour market and health, there is increasing awareness that ageist behaviours could be found in other areas. The aim of the paper is to present the most important examples of ageism on the supply-side market.
