Abstract

Artykuł jest krytycznym omówieniem znakomitej książki Jacka Migasińskiego "W stronę metafizyki. Nowe tendencje metafizyczne w filozofii francuskiej połowy XX wieku (wyd. II, Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika, Toruń 2014) W omówieniu tym zostaje podniesiona, nieporuszona przez Autora książki kwestia związków nowej metafizyki francuskiej z (francuską)filozofią transgresji (Bataille, Klossowski, Blanchot) w odniesieniu do myśli E. Levinasa, stanowiącej łącznik między tymi oboma nurtami filozofii francuskiej i wprowadzającej kwestie (transgresja, rozumienie historii i miejsca nowoczesności) komplikujące częściowo przynależność Levinasa do nowej metafizyki francuskiej .
