La conservación es un complemento fundamental de la actividad arqueológica pues permite mitigar el deterioro de la evidencia con la que trabajamos. En el presente trabajo se presentan las nociones básicas que deben tenerse en cuenta desde la planificación de la excavación para garantizar una conservación adecuada de los materiales cerámicos.
