La tecnología lítica desde las sociedades recolectoras a las sociedades formativas en el valle de Yocavil (Catamarca).

Abstract

En este trabajo se plantea el estudio de la base regional de recursos líticos y la organización de la producción y uso de la tecnología lítica que mantuvieron las sociedades formativas del Valle de Yocavil (Catamarca), hacia el primer milenio. Para este fin es necesario ampliar el conocimiento sobre las primeras ocupaciones del Valle de Yocavil, en especial sobre los sitios cantera-taller registrados (Cigliano et al. 1962). Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, se identific arán las fuentes primarias y secundarias de materias primas y se evaluará la existencia de fuentes terciarias. Además se investigará el sistema de producción lítica de un sitio formativo, comparándolo con las recolecciones superficiales de sitios cantera-taller precerámicos. Por último, se realizarán muestreos y prospecciones en la búsqueda de sitios cazadores – recolectores, para comparar la experiencia de talla de su tecnología lítica con la manufacturada posteriormente.
