Abstract

Este artículo es producto de un trabajo de investigación denominado Análisis de las estrategias de sobrevivencia de hogares pobres desde la perspectiva de género, realizado desde el Instituto de Estudios de la Mujer, durante los años 2011 y 2012. El mismo, presenta una especie de “radiografía” sobre cómo estaban viviendo la condición pobreza, un grupo de familias residentes en el distrito central de la provincia de Heredia. El mismo enfatiza la dimensión económica de las familias particularmente lo relativo a los ingresos y gastos, mostrando cómo se generan los recursos económicos, qué destino se les da, quién(es) los aportan, cómo resuelven lo relativo a las necesidades vitales de alimentación, vivienda, salud, recreación y vestimenta.

This article is the product of a research work called Analysis of survival strategies of poor households from a gender perspective, carried out by the Institute for Women's Studies, during the years 2011 and 2012. The same, presents a kind of " X-ray ”on how they were living in poverty, a group of families residing in the central district of Heredia province. The same one emphasizes the economic dimension of the families particularly the relative thing to the income and expenses, showing how the economic resources are generated, what destiny is given to them, who (is) they contribute them, how they solve the relative thing to the vital necessities of feeding, housing, health, recreation and clothing.
