Abstract

At present, the librarian with the immense amount of information that circulates in the world is unable to cover it, store it and, most importantly, make it known. Information retrieval processes are affected and as a consequence libraries are no longer responding to user needs and expectations, causing limitations in the services offered. Therefore, in this article, some languages that have been created for a better understanding of documents and a series of automated techniques that allow information retrieval are indicated in general.
