The article presents what it should be an identity for Social Sciences from very novel approaches towards the environmental subject-matter. The starting pont of the article is the premise that the environmental knowledge goes far beyond the diagnostics i.e., it goes to the preposition, to the production of new knowledge that mixes the knowledhe of the people with the scientific knowledge to allow a real change in the realtionship between people and other life manifestations.
