Abstract

Presenta las principales características del Programa de Ajuste Estructural (PAE) de Costa Rica. El Programa coincide con los lineamientos generales que Don Carlos Manuel Castillo planteó al inicio de su exposición, y creo que satisface también en gran medida los requerimientos que Don Miguel Angel Rodríguez indicó para este tipo de programa. Parece entonces que empieza a generarse ya en nuestra sociedad un nuevo consenso sobre la dirección en la cual debemos avanzar para transformar la economía
