Hay una tendencia global y nacional que evidencia el crecimiento de nuestras ciudades. La población urbana mundial pasó de 2.300 millones de personas en 1994, a 3.900 millones en el 2014; y se espera que para el 2050 ascienda a 6.300 millones. Asimismo, la mitad de todos los países del mundo han alcanzado una zona urbana de más del 60%, cifra que se estima que para el 2050 ascienda al 80%.
There is a global and national trend that shows the growth of our cities. The World urban population went from 2.3 billion people in 1994 to 3.9 billion in 2014; and it is expected that by 2050 it will rise to 6.3 billion. Also, half of all countries in the world have reached an urban area of more than 60%, a figure that is estimated that for in 2050 it will rise to 80%.
