People have knowledge about their memory processes. This knowledge (Metamemory) has been primarily studied in long-term memory tasks. In this study, we aimed to determine the accuracy of memory judgments using the memory task, based on working memory. To this end, an N-back task was administered, asking participants to estimate each response. It was found that confidence judgments varied depending on the difficulty of the task and familiarity with the information involved. It is concluded that it is feasible to make metamemory judgments in working memory tasks.
