[EN] One of the biggest problems that we face as teachers is to ensure that our students achieve an adequate development of reading skills. This has been a decisive factor for the integral evolution of the students in terms of the relationship that the reading process manifests with respect to all areas of learning. We can affirm that the possibilities of success in the different areas of learning for a student with good fluency and reading comprehension are greater than for those students who have not acquired reading strategies. We present in the following work a compilation of activities that can help growth reading comprehension skills. These activities have been tested and carried out with students in a first grade bilingual classroom at a public school located in the city of San Antonio, Texas in the United States of America.
