(ES) El siguiente Trabajo fin de máster consiste en la creación y grabación de una obra musical como resultado de la búsqueda por la historia del flamenco, la música cubana y la fusión con el jazz de ambos estilos musicales. Para ello está basado en la figura de dos excelentes instrumentistas, uno cubano y el otro jiennense, Aquilino Calzado y Fernando Vilches, quienes en los años 30 jugaron un papel fundamental en el desarrollo de dicho estilo, llegando a ser considerados como los padres del cante jondo flamenco en el saxofón y que además se les puede considerar como antecesores y creadores de una base sólida para lo que hoy conocemos como el flamenco-jazz. Por la parte de la música cubana, se basa en la figura del reconocido pianista cubano Jesús (Chucho) Valdés y la Orquesta Irakere, así como sus aportes a la música cubana y al latín-jazz o jazz cubano. (EN) The following Master's Thesis consists of the creation and recording of a musical work as a result of the search for the history of flamenco, Cuban music and the fusion with jazz of both musical styles. To do this, it is based on the figure of two excellent instrumentalists, one Cuban and the other from Jaen, Aquilino Calzado and Fernando Vilches, who in the 1930s played a fundamental role in the development of this style, reaching to be considered as the parents of flamenco cante jondo on the saxophone and that can also be considered as predecessors and creators of a solid base for what we know today as flamenco-jazz. On the part of Cuban music, it is based on the figure of the renowned Cuban pianist Jesús (Chucho) Valdés and the Irakere Orchestra, as well as their contributions to Cuban music and the Cuban Latin-jazz.
