Abstract

The importance of family for the proper development of minors is discussed, so they should grow up in a family environment. The concept of a situation of abandonment is defined, as well as the circumstances that declare the abandonment of a minor and how they are taken care of by the Public Administration to protect them after these circumstances. Foster care in other families, extended families, and residential centers provide protection for abandoned minors. The intervention will focus on foster care in other families,so it explains how to become a foster family, the difference between foster care and adoption, and the supports and benefits available. For the intervention, activities related to the proposed objectives are created, whose objectives are aimed at promoting and strengthening the well-being of minors in foster families, as well as advising and guiding the minor in foster care
