Abstract

This project consists about the analysis, design and implementation of a prototype for a mobile application that serves as a personal assistant/companion for people diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). The application will feature several utilities that will help its users with their personal development and autonomy, such as a task manager, personal routines manager, daily log about emotions and mood, daily planning tables using Gantt diagrams, text notes and voice notes. Analysis made on this project has been powered by professional psychologists which have brought information about how they perform their therapy with people with ASD. The prototype has been built using the Flutter multi-platform framework, which has led to a more agile development and a future-proof code base, as it’s planned to add more feature and publish the app in the future.
