These are communicative methodologies that use technology as a tool within today’s teaching and have a promising future. That’s why the Task Based Approach lies within a method that looks for communicative competence over grammatical skills. This work will highlight its main characteristics, limitations and the differences with other more traditional methodologies (i.e. The roles that students and teachers play in the classroom). Finally, the comparison with de practice of Cooperative Learning and the use of technology in the classroom will be examined.
