La cultura del olivar y del aceite a través del léxico andaluz de tradición oral

Abstract

En nuestro entorno más cercano, el olivo se ha erigido como un ingente recurso económico y, a la par, la oleocultura ha desempeñado un significativo papel, tanto en sus múltiples usos funcionales como en su valor simbólico, lo que justifica el estudio del impacto sociocultural del olivar. En nuestro estudio, realizaremos una apro­ximación lingüística, aunque adoptando una perspectiva interdisciplinar, aprovechando las aportaciones de disciplinas como la etnolingüística, la etnografía de la comunica­ción, la etnopragmática y los estudios culturales. Más concretamente, accederemos a la cultura del olivar a través del léxico, pues el vocabulario atesora los referentes, saberes, comportamientos, habilidades y actitudes socioculturales que configuran la identidad histórica y cultural de las comunidades de habla, y que determinan sus formas de pensar, comportarse y expresarse. Sobre esta base, realizaremos una aproximación de carácter general al conocimiento etnobotánico tradicional de las unidades léxicas referidas a la oleo cultura en la lengua hablada en Andalucía a través de los materiales recogidos en el Corpus de Literatura Oral (CLO, Mañero, 2019-), un recurso especialmente útil y valioso para la comprensión de la cultura en literatura oral a través del análisis del léxico.
