Bosquejo de la cultura macuna. Descripción de la ideología nativa de la descendencia. Funcionalidad. Sistemas de matrimonios y alianzas entre grupos. Función social del parentesco. Grupos locales y de residencia y organización territorial. Modelo de la organización social macuna. Consideraciones teóricas. Contiene anexos con materiales descriptivos de matrimonios ; diagramas de genealogía.

C5: El material trata sobre un pueblo nativo (etnografías, reseñas culturales) y contiene conceptos importantes para la cultura en lengua nativa mediante palabras aisladas, pero no se hace de la lengua misma el foco de interés.

Detallada etnografía del pueblo macuna con énfasis en la descripción de descendencia, alianzas, matrimonio y la formación social de grupos en el espacio amazónico.
