Abstract

Cada ensayo menciona ; a modo etnográfico ; cómo fueron los primeros acercamientos a los grupos ; cuáles son sus creencias ; cómo se relacionan con su territorio ; lengua y demás grupos ; así como en algunos casos describe brevemente cómo se estructuran u organizan como sociedad. Cada uno se complementa por una bibliografía básica y dónde acceder a ella al finalizar el capítulo.

El libro se fundamenta en la discusión de teorías, hipótesis, análisis y monografías sobre las lenguas indígenas del momento. Pretende así ser un acervo y expansión de los diversos modos de vida por distintas sociedades indígenas.

C4: El material hace referencia a la lengua en su función y uso social (descripción sociolingüística) sin contener descripciones de materiales lingüísticos como tal.
