Glotalización en lengua yukuna

Abstract

Se plantea el problema de la interpretración de glotalizaciones adyacentes a segmentos vocálicos ; se recurre al análisis acústico de palabras tipo verbo mediante el programa PRAAT. Se hace un planteamiento del problema ; poniéndose en cuestión la propuesta de Schauer (1975) que postula un fonema glotal sordo y vocales modales.

Se propone estudiar fonoacústicamnete la glotalización en muestras de esta lengua para determinar si se trata de una unidad del inventario fonológico, o un tipo de realización de vocales afectadas por larinzalización (creaky voice); dice la autora que ello tiene implicaciones gramaticales.

C1: El material tiene como objeto una aproximación a la descripción de las estructuras o particularidades de las lenguas, ocupándose ya sea del análisis gramatical, funcional, comparativismo (tipología), etc.
