Abstract

This work addresses the use of stories and their literary adaptations, songs, and games as teaching resources in English language education in Primary Education classrooms, focusing on fostering motivation and interest among students. The importance, characteristics, and advantages of these materials are justified, such as stimulating creativity, encouraging collective collaboration, and developing linguistic skills. To support this pedagogical foundation, a didactic design aimed at the sixth grade of Primary Education is proposed, based on a methodology of sessions or activities, which uses a literary adaptation of the novel "Anne of Green Gables."
