Abstract

RESUMEN: El perfil profesional idóneo es algo propio de cada uno, que debe elaborar con paciencia, esfuerzo y continua actualización para tener posibilidades de ser contratado. No siempre es sencillo conseguir el puesto de trabajo que uno desea, pero si es cierto que mediante las herramientas y conocimientos adecuados se puede llegar lejos y conseguir los objetivos que cada uno se proponga, todo lo contrario a dejarse llevar por la situación de espera para encontrar trabajo, comprobando que los milagros no existen y los trabajos deseados no caen del cielo. En la actualidad contamos con una extensa batería de herramientas que esperan ser utilizadas para poder tener visibilidad en el momento en que una empresa selecciona a un candidato. Analizaremos las redes sociales y aplicaciones para comprobar si tienen más posibilidades en estos momentos de dar oportunidades de empleabilidad que antes, puesto que las empresas van innovando más y utilizando nuevas técnicas para contratar a sus empleados. En este trabajo se realizará un análisis del mercado actual turístico nacional y extranjero, así como la explicación de herramientas, páginas web para encontrar trabajo, desarrollar bien un currículo, y distintas maneras entre muchas de elaborar nuestra marca personal para distinguirnos del resto y poder tener posibilidades de ser contratados. El objetivo de este trabajo es valorar las habilidades y fortalezas que cada uno tiene, para de esta manera se comprobará si ser como somos es una ventaja y eligiendo el puesto de trabajo adecuado podemos aportar a la empresa algo identificativo y personal. Cada persona es distinta con sus ventajas y desventajas, por ello hay que potenciar las ventajas y disimular las debilidades.

ABSTRACT: An individual’s ideal professional profile is of a highly personal nature; it should be developed with patience, effort and continuous updating so as to become an attractive candidate. Obtaining the desired post is not always straightforward, but it is true to say that you can go a long way towards achieving your goals by making good use of the resources currently available and by acquiring the necessary knowledge base. This pro-active approach stands in stark contrast to the laissez-faire attitude of passively waiting for a job offer to fall miraculously from the sky into one’s lap. Currently, we have at our disposal a whole battery of tools that can enable a candidate to gain a higher profile when being considered for a job vacancy. Social media networks and other applications offer greater possibilities to access job opportunities than ever before, especially given that companies are constantly innovating and harnessing new techniques to hire their employees. This undergraduate dissertation seeks to carry out an analysis of the current job market in the tourist sector, both at national and international level. It also provides details of the tools and web pages that facilitate the task of job-hunting, the preparation of curriculum vitae and, amongst many other actions, the development of personal branding with the aim of standing out from the crowd and becoming increasingly more employable. The aim of this study is to assess the skills and strengths that each person possesses and underscore how conscious, active development of these assets can help us to achieve our employment goals though the enhancing of our positive features and the subtle camouflaging of our weaknesses.
