Abstract

ABSTRACT: The project is directed towards the study of the impact that supposes to the tourism the philosophy Smart, which turns out to be an innovative design, which has been implanted strongly in the strategy and the management of a tourist destination, following a chain of components: as the development of the TICs; the environmental quality of the destinations; the tourist experience; and the search of the attractions of the territory. Specially, there will be investigated what is a "Smart City" and "Smart Destination". With the accomplishment of this project of end of degree, one tries to analyze the interest of a destination to manage to turn into an Intelligent City, for what an investigation will carry out, as his definition and origin, his requirements, advantages or disadvantages, strategies, his evolution with a view to the future, influence in the citizen, and especially that cities are declared national Smart Cities. In the same way, it will explain of that there consists a Tourist Intelligent Destination, the advantages that he believes his establishment, the differences and similarities between both concepts, as well as the principal points of adjustment of a Smart City to a Smart Destination. With the advance of the technology in the latter years, it does that many cities invest in her to be able to be a Smart City or Intelligent City, which purpose is to provide a better quality of life to the citizens, causing the capture of information on what it happens in ours around related with the public transport, the energetic expense, etc., allowing a better management of the city, more sustainable and more connected with the citizen. Bearing in mind the volume of information that has this topic, there will be tried concretize the key points of the process of a Smart City and Smart Destination.

RESUMEN: El proyecto está encaminado hacia el estudio del impacto que supone al turismo la filosofía Smart, que resulta un diseño innovador, que se ha implantado con fuerza en la estrategia y la gestión de un destino turístico, siguiendo una cadena de componentes: como el desarrollo de las TICs; la calidad ambiental de los destinos; la experiencia turística; y la búsqueda de los atractivos del territorio. Especialmente, se investigarán lo que es una “Smart City o Ciudad Inteligente” y “Smart Destination o Destino Turístico Inteligente”. Con la realización de este proyecto de fin de grado, se pretende analizar el interés de un destino en llegar a convertirse en una Ciudad Inteligente, por lo que se investigará su definición y origen, sus requisitos, ventajas o desventajas, estrategias, su evolución de cara al futuro, influencia en el ciudadano, y sobre todo que ciudades son declaradas Smart Cities a nivel nacional. Del mismo modo, se explicará en qué consiste un Destino Turístico Inteligente, las ventajas que crea su establecimiento, las diferencias y similitudes entre ambos conceptos, así como los principales puntos de adaptación de una Smart City a un Smart Destination. Con el avance de la tecnología en estos últimos años, hace que muchas ciudades inviertan en ella para poder ser una Smart City o Ciudad Inteligente, cuya finalidad es proporcionar una mejor calidad de vida a los ciudadanos, ocasionando la captación de información sobre lo que ocurre en nuestro alrededor relacionada con el transporte público, el gasto energético, etcétera., permitiendo una mejor gestión de la ciudad, más sostenible y más conectada con el ciudadano. Teniendo en cuenta el volumen de información que tiene este tema, se intentará concretizar los puntos claves del proceso de una Smart City y Smart Destination.
