Responsabilidad social corporativa: el sector textil

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is becoming more important in the business world. For this reason, many companies (especially big multinationals) are beginning to become more aware of the need to integrate their structures and strategies with other companies in hopes of better reaching their CSR goals. Today, the focus of achieving specific CSR goals has begun to proliferate through the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Despite this, the textile industry continues to be one of the most polluting, which is why it is in the sights of environmentalists and activists due to various factors such as relocation, pollution, and more. Moreover, I’ve provided further explanation concerning the textile sector in Spain, as well as its problems regarding CSR. Lastly, I’ve included an analysis of the practices carried out by the three leading textile companies (Inditex, Mango and Tendam) in relation to various SDGs.
