Sociedad digital actual: ventajas y consecuencias. Alfabetización digital

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Evaluating the current use of ICTs within different areas of life such as education, economics, social life and fiction, we find results that lead us towards a society that focuses on its work activities, personal relationships as well as the transmission of knowledge and information through digital technologies. We are immersed in a digital society that brings both advantages and consequences. A society that tends towards the loss of direct communication, empathy and respect and, that, for the youngest, is lacking in references prior to the digital revolution. There is a need to provide digital literacy inside and outside our classrooms, which protects and allows the development of critical thinking. To educate the viewer with respect to everything that the network provides us with. We must move toward a digital literacy that eliminates the false feeling of anonymity that facilitates the use of ICT, a false feeling of anything goes. We must adopt an attitude of commitment that takes care, protects and develops creative and decisive thinking from the classroom, to the possible problems which occur in daily life.
