RESUMEN En las bibliotecas escolares, entendidas como centros de recursos, se tiende a desarrollar el ámbito lector, dejando en un segundo plano la escritura. Dada la importancia de ambos aspectos para el día a día, esta investigación tiene como objetivo fomentar el desarrollo de la competencia lingüística en su vertiente escrita, conocer el uso que se hace de las bibliotecas y las finalidades de éstas, además de ofrecer una batería de actividades. Para ello, se realiza una investigación cualitativa en la que las entrevistas con diferentes docentes cobran un papel protagonista. Con los resultados se espera llegar a una conclusión sobre el aprovechamiento de las bibliotecas escolares con relación a la escritura como competencia imprescindible en Educación Primaria. El proyecto está destinado a docentes y bibliotecarios para promover la reflexión sobre las prácticas llevadas a cabo en los centros.
ABSTRACT In school libraries as resource centres, there is a tendency to develop the reader field, leaving writing in the background. Due to the importance of both aspects for the day to day, this research aims to promote the development of written language competence, to know the use that is made of libraries and the aims of these, in addition to offer a battery of activities. To this end, a qualitative research in which the interviews with different teachers take a leading role is made. With the results, a conclusion on the development of school libraries related to writing as a basic competence in Primary Education is expected to come. The project is focused on teachers and librarians to promote the reflection on the practises carried out in the centres.
