Abstract

ABSTRACT: When I was successful whit all my subjects of my degree in administration and business, I realized that the subjects that I like the most, were all those related to marketing. This kind of subjects were for me the most entertaining and amusing, what’s more, I could pass this type of subject easier than the other ones like accounting or statistics. Therefore, when the University of Cantabria gave me the chance of making a work or project related whit this, I did not doubt any second and I asked for doing a work about sports marketing. On the other hand, I am very keen on all sports whit motor, like motorbikes, racing cars, namely, I always loved the engine world and the world racing, and for that, I thought that I could join both, marketing and motorcycling. Another important thing is that, when I was a child, I always dreamed whit having my own business related whit motorbikes or sportive cars, I thought that whit this project I could discover a lot of things that I dreamed a lot of time ago. Then, I made a poll about motor sports to collect all information that I needed. The next step was, when I went out to the street and survey people that answered me kindly. This step was a bit difficult because a lot of people were reluctant to answer the poll, and sometimes I had to attend to friends, relatives and known people. The last step was inserting all information to the poll in a computer program called PSPP, and thanks to this program I could analyze the results. Finally, I achieved to discover what kind of people could be the potential customers in an enterprise related whit motor sports. These results you will be able to see at the end of this project.
