This article aims to characterize the main historical processes of Community Theater, particularly in the City of Buenos Aires, 40 years after its birth. For this, we will focus on the particularities of its management, executive production and audiences with support in the ethnographic bibliography that the author herself can develop through her professional experience. We will go through the public policies that contemplate, specifically, the practice of Argentine Community Theater, a practice that, from the exercise of the right to culture and art that assists us as human beings, produces social transformation. Based on specific cases, highlight examples that value networking as a power for construction and containment. We will try to bring closer, then, some concepts and experiences that can shed light on this practice that, being highly transformative, is usually not very visible by the different actors, public and private, who travel the paths of the performing arts.
