Abstract

Oppgaven undersøker hvordan foreldre, barn og lærer samsvarer om barnets emosjonelle vansker og atferdsproblemer. Tidligere forskning har vist at det ofte kun er lav til moderat samsvar mellom foreldre, barn og lærere, når de rapporterer om barnets vansker. Denne studien ville undersøke korrelasjoner mellom foreldrenes, barns og lærerens rapportering på delskala emosjonelle vansker og atferdsproblemer fra Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), samt om diskrepansene mellom informantene korrelerer. Oppgaven brukte data fra prosjektet The Matter of the First Friendship . Foreldrerapporter, barnerapporter og lærerrapporter fra siste innsamlingstidspunkt, våren 2006, ble benyttet. Det ble brukt Pearson s korrelasjonsanalyse for å undersøke samsvaret. Resultatene viste at barn, foreldre og lærere rapporterer ulikt med hensyn til barnas emosjonelle vansker og atferdsproblemer. Barna viste en tendens til å rapportere mer vansker på begge delskalaene, mens de voksne rapporterte mindre vansker og mer likt. Resultatene viste en kjønnsforskjell i rapportering: Lærere rapporterte mer atferdsproblemer for gutter enn for jenter.
