Politisk teologi i antropocen

Abstract

Artikkelen drøfter betydningen av Carl Schmitts tekster for antropocen-debatten, med vekt på hans forståelse av det politiske og jordens nomos i den klimatiske unntakstilstanden i det 21. århundre. Jeg tar utgangspunkt i antropocen-begrepet som en foreslått betegnelse på den geologiske epoke vi nå har gått inn i, og diskuterer alternative forslag til en epokebetegnelse som kapitalocen og chthulucen. Deretter analyserer jeg Carl Schmitts rolle i antropocen-debatten hos henholdsvis Michael S. Northcott, Bruno Latour og Catherine Keller. Avslutningsvis vurderer jeg ulike modeller for å reflektere teologisk omkring klima- og naturkrisen, dens politiske forutsetninger og etiske og eksistensielle konsekvenser.
