Escritos sobre autoridad y educación: La auténtica autoridad

Abstract

Together with todays radical rejection of any kínd of authority in many sectors, we_find, in many places, a desire for authority and strong awareness about the absolute need for ít ín dferent domaíns of human existente. People speak with great detaíl about the peed for authority, but there is no practical necessity that can support it. Either it is accepted that there ís an absolutely good God rejgning over the world and that there are people and instantes that partially represent God, with authentic authority; or an omnipotent God ís rejected and, along with him, the origin and source of all authentic authority. In a completely mechanistic view of the world, only a technical authority or one derived from our free creativity will have a place. Nevertheless, a kind of real subordinación to obediente under a purely technical authority ímplies some kínd of slavery which ís not compatible with moral freedom.
