In-fluido: lo fluido como concepto y práctica artística

Abstract

Hemos asistido a un progresiva desmaterialización del objeto artístico, del arte objetual al arte de concepto, de lo sólido a lo fluido; nuestra práctica artística se va volviendo más etérea y efímera, más ligada a la idea, desvinculando a la obra del aura de perpetuidad, pese al lastre del sistema mercantil del arte y a la inflación del espectáculo. El título de In-fluido viene dado porque estamos bajo la inercia de los efectos de lo móvil, lo dinámico y lo cambiante, por el efecto de la gravedad sobre el tiempo y la materia, por los flujos de información que recibimos de los media, por nuestra propia condición fluida. Nuestra sociedad se ha convertido en una sociedad líquida, donde los líquidos son informes y fluyen como rizomas. El tiempo toma relevancia pues configura y describe las cosas dentro de un continuo. Así, abandonada ya la función de monumento y desligada de la arquitectura, la creación artística actúa en el espacio-tiempo, donde el proceso y la experiencia son vitales, transita por el espacio en ocasiones con proyectos in situ, en contextos urbanos o en soportes a-tópicos en la red, explorando nuevas vías de comunicación social.
