Abstract

Il contributo indaga, a partire da una scelta di saggi di Joseph Ratzinger, l'approccio storico-comparativo al mondo delle religioni, e al posto del cristianesimo in esso, come sviluppato dall'A. e da lui considerato premessa necessaria per un giudizio teologico sulle stesse. Mentre si distanzia da indagini quali quelle proprie della fenomenologia religiosa e della antropologia religiosa, l'analisi espressa dai saggi in questione viene a mostrare la fecondità di una via comparativa che si ponga tra gli estremi costituiti, da un lato, da posizioni storicistiche e, dall'altro lato, da visioni relativistiche del religioso.
