Abstract

From an ethnic and religious point of view, contemporary Turkey is yet a plural country. The essay exposes the history of Christian minorities in Turkey and their complex relationship with the State, from the end of the Ottoman Empire to today.

La Turchia contemporanea resta un paese plurale dal punto di vista etnico e religioso. Il saggio ripercorre la storia delle minoranze cristiane in Turchia e del loro complesso rapporto con lo Stato, dalla fine dell'Impero ottomano a oggi.
