Abstract

La présente étude se donne pour but de retracer l’histoire du traitement du mot neologia et de sa famille morphologique dans les dictionnaires monolingues italiens. Le traitement du mot neologia dans le corps du dictionnaire peut en effet être un indice de l’attitude de l’auteur, ou plus récemment de l’équipe de lexicographes, à l’égard du phénomène de la néologie. À travers l’analyse de la nomenclature et de la préface de quelques-uns des dictionnaires italiens les plus importants du 18ème au 20ème siècle, nous essaierons de retracer l’origine et l’évolution du mot.

L’articolo ricostruisce la storia del trattamento della parola neologia e dei suoi derivati nella lessicografia monolingue italiana dal 18° al 20° secolo. Si può considerare infatti che il trattamento del termine neologia possa rappresentare un indizio dell’atteggiamento dell’autore o della redazione lessicografica nei confronti del fenomeno della neologia. L’analisi della macrostuttura e della microstruttura è completata dallo studio del paratesto dei dizionari presi in esame.
