La "devotio" femminile (secoli XIII-XIV)

Abstract

The examination of the most significant experiments through which the feminine devotion manifested in the thirteenth century allows us to recognize the foundations of the new spirituality in the motifs of preaching for the crusade. This spirituality found multifaceted accomplishments, mostly outside the traditional forms of the monastic female life.
