Abstract

Existen muchas señales presentes en el medio que describen fenómenos físicos que por si misma naturaleza, son de carácter no diferenciable y medir esta no diferenciabilidad, puede exhibir patrones o características de uno u otro modo no pueden ser detectados por otros medios. Comúnmente, la diferenciabilidad se mide con el exponente de Lipschitz el cual da un criterio cuantitativo de que tan derivable es una señal en un punto, pero hallar este exponente no es fácil. En este trabajo se implementa uno de los métodos mas usados para hallar dicho exponente el cual se relaciona la singularidad de la señal con la transformada Wavelet o transformada ondita continua y sus máximos locales.
