Abstract

This degree work considers the description of a business model based on the Osterwalder and Pigneur methodological proposal, for a virtual teacher academy, which is an intra-entrepreneurship of the company Aulas Amigas that aims to train teachers of Latin America through self-managed virtual courses type MOOC. Using the Osterwalder and Pigneur methodology, the customer segment, value proposition, relationship with customers, channels, activities, resources and key partnerships, cost structure and sources of income are described. This model is the result of research on the state of the art in the educational field, strategy concepts and environment analysis, also thanks to work tables, co-creation sessions and questionnaires made to teachers from 13 Latin American countries. Finally, the implementation roadmap is presented, using the Balanced Scorecard methodology.
