La complementariedad en La Caja Azul/El Bastón Azul de Iwona Chmielewska

Abstract

En el presente artículo, desarrollo un análisis del libro-álbum El Bastón Azul/La Caja Azul de la escritora e ilustradora Iwona Chmielewska, teniendo en cuenta para la descripción analítica del mismo un marco conceptual construido por estudiosos de la producción literaria para niños como Nocolajeva y Scott (2006), Durán (2012) y Colomer (2005), entre otros, marco conceptual anclado a teorías de la narratología y de las artes visuales -- El análisis conduce a señalar los mecanismos que emplea el libro para narrar una historia usando al mismo tiempo imágenes y textos y, a su vez, al descubrimiento de una propuesta de mundo sugerida con alusiones simbólicas por Chmielewska: el complemento entre lo femenino y lo masculino como una clave de la prolongación de la vida
