Abstract

In conjunction with EAFIT University's efforts to increase digital content, the following document proposes three crucial elements to consider for the creation of two online units for the undergraduate Geoscience course, in the Geology program -- The three elements are as follows: I) A selection of topics and subtopics (including a description of resources and design of objectives for the course syllabus) -- II) The content and resources design for each of the units -- III) An instructional guideline for the online platform EAFIT Virtual -- This document also summarizes the methodology used in each stage of the project while specifying the theoretical basis behind the choice of design for course objectives and competencies -- Furthermore, it describes the resources designed for each of the activities, student expectations, and the evaluation criteria for each assignment
